In the production and manufacturing sectors, the need for immediate O-rings represents a recurring technical challenge. Presents a research project whose objective was to design and build a machine capable of manufacturing O-rings with standardized diameters and thicknesses, using commercial elastomeric cords suitable for high temperatures, high pressures, and static and dynamic loads. The study was framed as a Feasible Project, with documentary and field design. The sample was census-based, consisting of O-rings evaluated for material, durability, strength, and efficiency. Techniques such as observation and interviews were used, with instruments validated by experts. The analysis was based on the Ishikawa diagram and descriptive statistics. The research was carried out in six phases: diagnosis, analysis of mechanical properties, selection of alternatives, design, machine construction, and feasibility evaluation. The results show that the machine enables precise and efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and consistency in the produced O-rings. However, limitations were identified regarding the range of thicknesses and internal diameters, as well as mass production capacity. This work consolidated technical knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering and achieved the stated objective.
