The research work consisted of the design of a foam-based fire protection system for Distributor de Combustibles El Valle C.A. This project was framed within the type of feasible project research, supported by a field and documentary design and a descriptive level. Under the Research Line: Cognitive and applied sciences. To achieve the proposed objectives, the techniques and instruments were based on direct observation through a checklist and photographic records; In addition, a structured interview was carried out with a script, along with the data analysis tools, the documentary review and the instruments necessary to achieve the established purposes. The general objective allowed us to achieve the proposed design, taking into account the highly flammable nature of the products handled in a fuel distributor. This novel approach provided the company with a valuable tool to evaluate and improve the security of its operations. As well as a quick and effective response to possible hydrocarbon fires, which is an inherent risk of a fuel distributor. In this sense, by choosing a foam system, the company positions itself at the forefront in terms of industrial safety, adopting advanced technologies that offer efficient extinguishing and minimize structural and operational damage.
